Outfity Privacy Policy
Effective Date: May 25, 2026
Outfity ("Outfity", "we", "us", or "our") is an AI-powered wardrobe, outfit planning, and styling app. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have when you use the Outfity mobile app, website, backend services, and related features (together, the "Service").
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account and Profile Information
When you create or use an Outfity account, we may collect account name, email address, nickname, avatar, password-related authentication data, Apple Sign in information, profile settings, language, preferences, and other information you choose to provide.
We do not receive your Apple ID password.
1.2 Wardrobe, Outfit, and User Content
Outfity is built around your real wardrobe. Depending on the features you use, we may collect and process clothing photos, outfit photos, model photos, clothing metadata, outfits, layout data, OOTD records, calendar entries, item combinations, ratings, feedback, recommendation history, and AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs.
AI-generated or AI-assisted outputs may include item attributes, outfit recommendations, try-on results, beautified item images, parsed outfit items, titles, reasoning, and style intent.
You retain ownership of your photos and wardrobe content. You give us a limited permission to host, store, process, display, and transform that content only as needed to provide, maintain, secure, and improve Outfity.
1.3 Photos, Camera, and Photo Library Access
If you choose to upload clothing, outfit, model, or same-style reference images, Outfity may request access to your camera or photo library. We only access photos or camera captures that you select or create through the app. You can change camera and photo permissions in your device settings.
1.4 Weather and Location-Related Information
Outfity may use weather information to help generate or explain outfit recommendations. On iOS, weather data may come from Apple Weather / WeatherKit after the necessary system permissions are available.
When location permission is required for weather, your device may use location information to request local weather. Outfity may upload a limited weather forecast, such as date, condition, temperature, and related weather fields, to our backend so that Daily AI LOOK and OOTD features can use the same weather context across sessions.
If you disable location or weather access, Outfity will still work, but weather-based suggestions may be unavailable or less accurate.
Apple Weather data is subject to Apple's own terms and attribution requirements. The app provides an Apple Weather legal attribution link where weather data is displayed.
1.5 Subscription, In-App Purchase, and AI Points Information
Outfity may offer subscriptions, AI points, or other paid features through Apple in-app purchase. Apple processes payments. We do not collect or store your full payment card number.
To activate and maintain paid features, we may receive or store product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase dates, expiration dates, renewal status, refund or cancellation status, subscription status, AI point balance, AI point transactions, usage limits, and entitlement records.
1.6 Device, App, and Usage Information
We may collect technical and usage information needed to operate and improve the Service, such as device type, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, approximate network information, IP address, device identifiers available through the operating system, app launch data, feature usage, API request data, error logs, diagnostics, and security logs.
We use this information to keep the app reliable, secure, and useful. We do not use it to track you across unrelated third-party apps or websites unless we separately ask for permission and make the required disclosures.
1.7 Communications
If you contact us by email, support channels, feedback forms, or app review/support flows, we may collect your message, contact information, attachments, and related support history.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- create, authenticate, secure, and manage your account;
- upload, store, display, edit, and sync your wardrobe, outfits, OOTD records, calendar data, and profile data;
- process clothing photos, generate item attributes, remove backgrounds, parse outfit photos, beautify item images, and provide virtual try-on features;
- generate and refresh Daily AI LOOK and other outfit recommendations based on your wardrobe, preferences, weather context, and usage history;
- provide paid subscriptions, AI points, usage limits, purchase restoration, and entitlement verification;
- diagnose bugs, prevent abuse, protect accounts, detect fraudulent purchases, and maintain service security;
- improve the app experience, recommendation quality, layout stability, performance, and localization;
- respond to support requests and send service-related notices;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We do not sell your wardrobe photos or personal data. We do not use your personal wardrobe content to train third-party general-purpose AI models, and we do not permit our AI service providers to do so, unless we separately explain the change and obtain any consent required by law.
3. AI Processing
Outfity uses AI and automated processing to power features such as clothing recognition, outfit recommendations, Daily AI LOOK, outfit parsing, item beautify, and virtual try-on.
AI features may process your uploaded images, wardrobe metadata, outfit history, weather context, and generated recommendation data. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or not suitable for every occasion, body, weather condition, or personal preference. You should use your own judgment before relying on any recommendation or generated image.
In limited cases, authorized personnel may access relevant account, log, image, or AI-processing data to provide support, investigate security issues, debug failures, comply with legal obligations, or improve service reliability. Access is limited to what is reasonably necessary.
4. How We Share Information
4.1 Service Providers
We use third-party providers to operate the Service. These may include providers for cloud hosting, database, object storage, image storage, content delivery, AI model and image processing infrastructure, Apple Sign in, Apple in-app purchase, App Store Server Notifications, subscription verification, Apple Weather / WeatherKit, analytics, diagnostics, logging, security, support, email, and user communication services.
These providers may process information only to provide services to us and are expected to protect it appropriately.
4.2 Legal, Safety, and Fraud Prevention
We may disclose information if we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect the rights and safety of users or others, investigate fraud or security issues, enforce our Terms, or protect the Service.
4.3 Business Transfers
If Outfity is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, asset sale, or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate protection for user information.
4.4 With Your Direction or Consent
We may share information when you direct us to do so, such as when you use system share features, export content, connect third-party services, or otherwise give consent.
5. Storage, Retention, and International Processing
We store information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements.
Your data may be stored or processed in countries or regions different from where you live, depending on our infrastructure and service providers. Where required, we use reasonable safeguards for such processing.
After account deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including access controls, encrypted transmission where appropriate, and operational safeguards. No online service can guarantee complete security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and device secure.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete certain personal information; delete clothing items, outfits, model images, OOTD records, or other user content in the app; request deletion of your account; withdraw permissions for camera, photo library, location, or notifications through your device settings; opt out of optional marketing communications; and request information about how your data is used or shared.
You can delete your account in the app where the account-deletion feature is available, or contact us at outfity.app@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
Deleting the app from your device does not automatically delete your Outfity account or backend data.
8. Children
Outfity is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may include links, system flows, or integrations provided by third parties, such as Apple, weather providers, payment platforms, AI infrastructure providers, or websites opened from the app. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the effective date, posting the revised policy, or using other reasonable notice methods. Your continued use of the Service after the updated policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
